The renewal process could be started 60 days before and 90 days after the expiration date of the student card. INVESTATE can take care of the process of the student authorisation renewal. The price of the renewal procedure is not included into the initial Student visa process.
In order to apply for the renewal it is necessary to comply with all the requirements for it. It is obligatory to terminate the previous course studies, some bad marks could be admitted, but most of the course subjects should be accomplished.
Here are the documents to submit:
- Copy of your complete passport (including blank pages).
- New admission letter and if you have paid part or all of the registration fee for the following year, you must attach the receipt.
- Spanish Bank certificate showing the amount you have available today (which must be higher than 100% of the monthly IPREM), as well as bank movements from the past months.
- Copy of your previous residence card (if you had one).
- Proof that you have paid the corresponding fee: form 790 code 052
The renewal process normally takes 3-6 weeks, but every time you do renewal you need to visit the police office in person for the fingerprinting and card issuing. The card will be issued in 30-45 days from the police appointment. The card should be picked up only in person, even children
